ComEd also offers a comprehensive Driver’s Education program for teens, providing state-certified instruction that includes 30 hours of classroom learning and six hours of behind-the-wheel practice, along with six hours of observation. Taught by certified instructors, this program ensures quality education that meets state requirements. With classes available year-round, including summer, and catalogs distributed twice a year for Spring & Summer and Fall & Winter, ComEd makes it easy for learners of all ages to access the resources they need to succeed.

In addition to youth driver’s education, ComEd offers classes for adults, with some options specifically designed for families. While some courses have age limits, a wide variety of educational opportunities are available. Those interested in learning more or enrolling in courses can contact ComEd to discuss ideas or explore the catalog offerings.

The Sioux Falls School District also offers a special opportunity for older residents through the Gold Card Club. Residents aged 60 and older can become members at no cost, and membership includes several exclusive perks. Gold Card members receive biannual Community Education catalogs and access to classes tailored specifically to them.
