The countdown is on! The end of March is just a few days away, which means we are near the end of the #EverybodyReads community-wide reading initiative. As a community, we've read over 300k books in just 29 days! This is an incredible effort by our schools and the rest of the community. Let's end the month strong and keep our trees growing! What do you think, can we make it to 350K by Friday? 📚

Please help us congratulate our newest SFSD All Star, Karen Hanisch! Hanisch works in the Child Nutrition Department. She was nominated for this award by Child Nutrition Supervisor, Gay Anderson who had this to say about her, "This has been a very hard school start for our department and Karen has been in the middle from beginning to end to get things aligned with menus changes, menu shortages and other things that have tried to hold her work back. She has remained dedicated putting in extra time and assuring our students are safe." Congratulations, Karen!
